The press service of Azerbaijani Airlines CJSC reported that the meeting at the Azerbaijani Airlines office also attended Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Poland Nargiz Gurbanov, Dzhakhangir Askurov and Rafal Milcharsky discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The parties, congratulating each other on the start of the air traffic, expressed hope for the duration of flights. The start of flights between the two countries will increase tourist flows and expand business contacts between Azerbaijan and Poland.
Polish air carrier on May 28 will operate its first flight from Warsaw to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Flights will be performed 4 times a week, the message is noted.
In particular, AZAL President Jahangir Askurov recalled that in all seven international airports in Azerbaijan there are fifth and seventh degrees of freedom of air. These degrees offer foreign air carriers equal rights with Azerbaijani airlines and the possibility of performing flights of transit through Azerbaijani airports.
The head of LOT Rafal Milcharsky noted a great interest in making flights between Azerbaijan and Poland. According to him, the fulfillment of regular flights will serve as an impulse for the development of mutually beneficial interests of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the guests showed the possibilities of the five -star international airport Heydar Aliyev, in particular, for ground maintenance of aircraft, the activities of various services and the convenience created for passengers in the airport complex.
