Azal National Airline once again successfully passed an audit of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for compliance with the IATA Operational Safety Audit standard.
This audit, which for the first time passed in the distance format, was once again confirmed by Azerbaijan Airlines as a reliable air carrier, which meets the most stringent international security requirements in the field of civil aviation.
IOSA audit (IATA Safety Checking Program) – This is a check program for several hundreds of mandatory standards and recommended procedures, structured by several sections, which must confirm the airline during the passage of the audit.
The audit program includes checking the main disciplines in the field of air transportation, such as ground, cargo and flight operations, aircraft park maintenance, air transportation, etc.
Audit verification includes not only an assessment of the production activities of the airline, but also its organizational structure. As part of the inspection, the risk minimization system from the influence of the human factor and the feedback system will be assessed to ensure that corrective actions in a timely manner. Actions of each employee of the air carrier are spelled out to the smallest details. This allows you to minimize all possible errors and shortcomings.
“Azal already in the seventh time successfully passes the IOSA audit – one of the most important security checks in the field of civil air transportation. Successful passage of audit in a pandemic once again proves that the preservation of the highest level of flight safety is the key priority of our airline,” noted President of Azerbaijan Airlines Jahangir Askerov.
Note that the National Airline of Azerbaijan is a member of IATA since 1993.
