Azerbaijani Airlines Air Airlines successfully passed the audit of operational security (iOSA) of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the AZAL reported.
The audit covers all aspects of the airline, affecting flight safety, including Maintenance and Flight Operation, operational dispatch management, ground service, freight transportation, aviation security and organization of company management.
“The current registration of iOSA in the air transport industry is evidence of the reliability and high level of security of the airline. The iOSA program is guided by the worldly recognized quality principles in quality and is developed in such a way that the audits are carried out with standardized and consistent methods,” the report said.
According to IATA requirements, all the Member Airlines of this international organization take an audit of iOSA every 2 years in order to guarantee compliance with about 1000 security standards and quality iOSA.
Audites are conducted by audit organizations accredited by IATA, while the same organization cannot conduct an audit of the airline 2 times in a row.
