Air Traffic Control “Azeraeronavigatsiya” (AZANS) at CJSC “Azerbaijan Airlines” elected to the International Prize Jury Maverick Awards 2021. The award, established by an international organization of air navigation service providers ensure the CANSO, awarded for achievements in the field of air navigation.
According to haqqin.az the press service of JSC, International Award Maverick Awards 2021 in the field of air navigation CANSO is awarded for outstanding achievements, progress, innovation, as well as sustainable development in the field of air navigation and air traffic management (ATM) system.
So, on the basis of the points given by the judges into categories, the contest works in each category are ranked from the highest to the lowest estimates. At the conclusion of the contest judges will determine the winners of the Prize Maverick Awards 2021.
The award – a kind of platform for the demonstration of new bright ideas, recognizing the positive contribution to the environment and contributing to the improvement of the entire aviation industry and the scope of the ATM

The award is presented in three categories:
• The reward for cooperation;
• The award for innovation;
• Award for sustainable development.
The process of judging and selection of candidates is carried out by the Ground Jury nominations Maverick Awards based on open and transparent criteria.
The panel of judges take representatives of the association of Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO). It is well-known leaders of the number of air navigation service providers, aviation industry and academia, with a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience.
