In Azerbaijan, in exceptional cases, there will be vaccinated from the coronavirus of citizens aged 16-18 years, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
Given the current epidemiological situation, the official permits of the European Agency for Drugs, the US Administration for Food and Drug Administration for Teenagers MRNT Pfizer Vaccine (COMIRNAY), the Scientific Medical Council of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and the Scientific Committee for the Office of Medical Territorial Management Divisions (Təbian) adopted the following solutions:
1. In Azerbaijan, in exceptional cases of adolescents aged 16-18 years will vaccinate the drug MRNT PFIZER (COMIRNATY) from COVID-19.
2. For the vaccination of adolescents, 16-18 years will be required by a written statement of one of the parents and the consent of both parents, indicating the reason for the introduction of the vaccine.
3. Vaccination of adolescents will be held centralized in the Baku Health Center.
