During the visit of Azerbaijan Prime Minister Ali Asadov, a number of important documents were signed aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of healthcare. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and Belarus signed the “Cooperation Program (” roadmap “) for 2024-2025.” The document was signed by the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teimur Musaev and his Belarusian colleague Alexander Khojaev
This document determines the key areas of joint work in the field of medicine, such as academic and scientific exchange, training of medical personnel, pharmaceutical industry and digitalization of healthcare.
In addition, the “roadmap” provides for the exchange of experience and advanced training of specialists in areas such as oncology, transplantology, cardiology and neurosurgery. Active interaction between research institutes and centers of the two countries is also planned.
