On June 10, Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Kerim Veliyev met in Baku with a delegation led by the head of the Main Department of Military Operations of Pakistan Major General Naughty Zakaria, reports the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
Parties stressed the importance of further expanding relations between the armies of two countries based on friendly and fraternal relations.
At the meeting, the main directions of bilateral military cooperation were discussed, including the issues of military exercises with the involvement of various types of troops, the organization of mutual visits of military personnel in order to exchange experiences.
The head of the Pakistani military delegation expressed the readiness of his country to take part in the process of demining and restoration work on the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
