Teimur Musaev said that there is close cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, despite the fact that memorandums were not signed in this regard: “Our cooperation in the field of health and medical science is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the protocol The joint commission between the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In turn, the Ambassador Bilal Khayi emphasized that Azerbaijan is a country that occupies a special place in the hearts of the Pakistanis. The ambassador said that currently 25 Pakistanis receive a higher medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU).
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation, the potential possibilities of its development, the importance of direct connections between ministries in the field of medical science and within the framework of the World Health Organization, the organization of Islamic cooperation, the movement of non -alignment and other international organizations.
