Azerbaijan And Türkiye Create “corridor Of Renewable Energy”

Azerbaijan and Türkiye have strong cooperation in all areas. We work not only in the field of oil and natural gas, but also in the field of renewable energy sources. This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shakhbazov in an interview with Anadola as part of the Windenergy Hamburg.

He emphasized the importance of the energy sector as a field of cooperation between the “fraternal countries” by Azerbaijan and Turkey and mentioned such infrastructure projects as the Baku-Tbilisi-Jahan oil pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline and trans-Aatolian gas pipeline (Tanap) who contribute to the energy security of the region and Europe.

Shakhbazov said that in the renewable energy created by the corridor, the emphasis will be placed on wind and solar energy, and the issue of hydrogen will also be considered.

He added that work on the project continues between the two countries.
