Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan discussed the prospect of new political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The negotiations were held by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiir Saidov and Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliev.
The parties also considered the schedule of planned measures, including the next meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
At the same time, the importance of taking joint measures to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in areas such as automotive, petrochemistry, energy and agriculture is emphasized.
