On July 9, at about 20:30, an incident occurred near the Saatla railway station: three commodity wagons belonging to the Georgian railway, which were transported to Azerbaijan, the Sugar rawe through the Black Sea, the press service of Azerbaijani Railway CJSC reported, .
According to the preliminary version, the cause of the incident was the technical malfunction of one of the wagons (the neck of the wheel pair of axis was broken). A delegation was involved in the scene of the incident as part of the leaderships of the CJSC. Urgent measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
The department noted that there are no dead and injured as a result of the accident. The amount of damage to the railway infrastructure is currently being established.
