Azerbaijani naval forces conduct tactical exercises at the Caspian.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the main goal of the exercises is to develop the joint activities of ship tactical groups and special -purpose groups when performing objectives in various conditions, improving commanders and headquarters for organizing military operations and managing forces in battle.
In tactical exercises, more than 30 ships and boats of the Azerbaijani Navy are involved, as well as up to 1,500 military personnel, the military department noted. During the exercises in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the Navy units will carry out practical activities to carry out combat missions in order to protect and protect energy infrastructure.
