Azerbaijan Embassy In Syria Resumes Work

After a 13-year break, Azerbaijan resumed the activities of his embassy in Damascus. This is stated in the press service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.

“The Azerbaijan Republic, after a 13-year break, resumed the activities of its embassy in the capital of Syria Damascus. For this purpose, the temporary attorney of the embassy was already sent to Damascus and started work,” the press release said.

The department noted that Azerbaijan, based on the principles of international law, supports the establishment of a strong world and stability in Syria.

“In this important period, when the relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Syria enter into a qualitatively new stage and new opportunities appear for the development of partnership in the political, economic, cultural and other areas, our embassy will support the development of our bilateral ties in closely cooperation with the Syrian transition government, ”the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry said.
