The volume of gas exports from Azerbaijan to Europe in January-April of this year amounted to 4.2 billion cubic meters.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Pyarviz Shakhbazov in the social network x.
He noted that for the specified period, 3.2 billion cubic meters of gas were exported to Turkey, 1.1 billion cubic meters in Georgia.
In January-April, the Transanatolian gas pipeline (Tanap) to Turkey transported 1.8 billion cubic meters of gas, the minister added.
According to Shakhbazov’s information, gas sales abroad for 4 months of the current year increased by about 2.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
The minister also said that in the first 4 months of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 7.9 million tons of oil -heartsate.
oil-hearted production in Azerbaijan in January-April amounted to 9.6 million tons.
