Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov accepted a special representative on the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia Ambassador Serdar Kylych.
In the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, it is reported that Kylych, who arrived in Baku for negotiations, met with Bayramov.
During the meeting, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the situation in the region, negotiations between special representatives on the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia, as well as issues of regional and international security were discussed.
Bayramov provided Kylych with detailed information about the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Speaking about the factors that impede the peaceful process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Bayramov said that the presence of territorial claims against Azerbaijan in the Armenian Constitution and Armenia’s weapons from third countries pose a threat to regional stability.
During the meeting, in which the Turkish ambassador to Baku Jahit Bagchi also took part, the parties also discussed cooperation issues within the framework of bilateral and international organizations and other regional issues.
