The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022 in Azerbaijan amounted to 133.8 billion manat, which was 4.6% higher than 2021.
This is stated in a statement by the State Committee for Statistics.
During the reporting period, the volume of production of the oil and gas sector decreased by 2.7%, Neneftegazy – grew by 9.1%.
The largest volume of GDP came to the share of industry – 51.1%.
Trade and repair of vehicles occupied 8.2%of GDP, transport and warehouse – 6%, rural, forestry and fishing – 4.8%, construction – 4.8%, placement of tourists and catering – 1.6 %, information and communication – 1.4%.
Clean taxes on products and imports amounted to 7.4% of GDP.
per capita GDP amounted to 13 thousand 292.2 manat.
Note that the Azerbaijani government predicted GDP growth in 2022 at 3.5%.
In 2021, Azerbaijan GDP grew by 5.6%, including Neneftyan – by 7.2%.
