The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan in January 2023 amounted to 9 billion 690.2 million manat, which is 1.5% lower than the indicator for the same period of 2022, the State Committee on Statistics said.
During the reporting period, the volume of production of the oil and gas sector decreased by 4.6%, Neneftegazy – grew by 1.7%.
The largest volume of GDP came to the share of industry – 52.8%.
Trade and repair of vehicles occupied 9.5%of GDP, transport and warehouse – 5.3%, construction – 3.2%, rural, forestry and fishing – 2.6%, information and communication – 1, 6%, accommodation of tourists and catering – 1.4%, other sectors – 15.5%.
Clean taxes on products and imports amounted to 8.1% of GDP.
per capita GDP amounted to 956.6 manat.
In 2022, Azerbaijan GDP amounted to 133.8 billion manat, which was 4.6% higher than 2021. At the same time, the volume of production of the Neneftegas sector grew by 9.1%.
In 2021, Azerbaijan GDP grew by 5.6%, including Neneftegazy – by 7.2%.
Azerbaijan GDP growth in 2023 is predicted at 2.7%.
