Fitch writes that gas storage in Europe is filled by more than 90%, but the energy risk rate remains high. It is indicated that Europe managed to compensate for the gas lack of about 60 billion cubic meters by reducing consumption and alternative supplies (mainly LNG, as well as at the expense of Norway, Azerbaijan and North Africa).
Along with the import of record volumes of LNG, the filling of gas storages in recent months in the EU countries has grown due to low consumptions caused by high prices.
