From October 17 to October 18, the international tournament in the academic rowing, kayaks and canoe will be held – “Mingiachevir Regata – 2024”. The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan together with the Kanoe Federation and the country’s rowing.
About 100 athletes from 12 countries will take part in the regatta, including Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Italy, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
The official opening ceremony of the regatta will take place on October 17 at the Ashagi Kyongladalachai reservoir in the Fizuli district.
The final competitions and closing ceremony will be held on October 18 in the Mingiachevirsk Olympic Educational and Sports Center “Cur”. It is here that the strongest athletes will be defined and the tournament medals are played.
