At a meeting of OPEC+, an agreement was reached on the continuation of regulation measures taken in October 2022, the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shakhbazov wrote on his Twitter.
The ministers of the OPEC+ countries at today’s meeting in the video conference format decided to save the oil production plan adopted in October (reduce 2 million barrels per day) amid the approval of the EU countries and G7 prices for Russian oil in $ 60 per barrel. According to the results of the meeting, the alliance is said that OPEC+ countries are ready to gather at any time to take additional measures to stabilize the market.
If no force majeure occurs, then the next meeting of the OPEC+ ministerial monitoring committee will be held on February 1. On June 3, the next OPEC conference was scheduled. A full -format meeting of OPEC+ ministers is scheduled for June 4.
