Azerbaijan, being a key transport hub in the region, is ready to more intensively use its potential to ensure increasing volume of cargo flows for the needs of their CIS partners. This was stated on Thursday, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS in Sochi.
He emphasized that the country is constantly improving its transport and logistics infrastructure.
As Assadov noted, the relevance of cooperation in the transport and transit sphere is growing in the light of the current global geopolitical challenges. He also emphasized the importance of unlocking transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus.
