The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economy of the Azerbaijan Republic launch an IT -Academy – an educational project for persons who want to master a new profession in the field of digital.
The Ministry of Education reported that the project would start in August 2022. It is implemented with the participation of the International School of Mathematics and Programming “Algorithmics”, the support of the agency for the development of small and medium -sized businesses (Kobi̇a), Azerbaijani State University of Oil and Industry (Adnsu) and Baku Steel Company.
Most of the payment of the cost of training is ensured by the organizers and partners of the project, due to which the financial burden on students will seriously decrease.
The project may take part of the person from 25 years. Applicants will have to test algorithmic thinking. The first stage has successfully passed the interview, as a result of which 300 candidates will become students of the IT Academy.

In this context, it is very important to develop human capital – it is the presence of qualified IT specialists that allows you to create a strong foundation for the further development of the country’s economic potential.
The purpose of the IT Academy is to promote the development of the IT market and accelerate the modernization of the education system in the field of information technology.
Project participants will gain the necessary knowledge to become Junior specialists in one of the following professions: web developer, system administrator or testing engineer.
The classes will be held in two waves – in August and November 2022. Training will last 5 months and will take place in online and offline format. Graduates will receive certificates of successful completion of courses. The learning process is built in such a way that students can gain professional experience and practical skills to solve real problems. Thanks to this, graduates of the IT Academy will be in demand on the labor market and will be able to easily find work in their specialty.
