The opening ceremony of the Caucasian Eagle – 2024 joint exercises was held with the participation of special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said.
, within the framework of the ceremony, a minute of silence was honored by the memory of the military personnel who died for the defense and protection of the sovereignty of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, the state hymns of the three countries were heard, state flags were raised.
At the opening ceremony, the acting commander of the special forces, Major General Akif Pirverdiev handed over the personnel of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and wished success to participants in the exercises.
After the official part of the ceremony was completed, the concert program “From the top to the top, the Caucasian eagle!” Was presented the participants in the exercise!
The artistic part of the event was the soloists of the ensemble of the song and dance of the army ideological and cultural center named after Azi Aslanov, the Military Orchestra of the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchyansky, the Baku Academy of Choreography and the Syama Dance Ensemble.
