In 2022, two judges were dismissed, the powers of one judge were terminated ahead of schedule in connection with the circumstances that created the conditions for corruption and other offenses. This was reported at a meeting of the Forensic Council of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, it was noted that in order to prevent non -subject relations in the courts, eliminating their causes, the Council conducts constant monitoring and reception of citizens, the appropriate appeals received on the hotline of the Council.
In connection with the violations that caused fair discontent of citizens, more than 160 judges were officially warned last year. At the same time, in 2022, the Judicial Council revealed professional shortcomings in the activities of four judges and terminated their powers ahead of schedule. Nine judges gave six months to correct the shortcomings in their work.
