Today, the Judo World Championship started in Budapest. On the first day of the competition, the medal for Azerbaijan won Kyarayat Huseynov (60 kg). He became a bronze medalist.
In the first fighting of Huseynov defeated Mohammed Rashenonejad, representing the refugee team of the International Judo Federation. Then, our athlete won Nikolai Foku (Moldova), and in the 1/8 finals sensationally defeated the leader of the world ranking of the Japanese Rudju Nagaem.
Alas, in the quarterfinals he gave way to the Frenchman Walid Hyaru. Then in the comforting grid of Huseynov won the Unbold Lhagwazhamza from Mongolia, and in the fight for the 3rd place took over the Kazakh Magzhan Shamchadin.
Davud Mamedsoy in the same weight lost in the first fight the Frenchman. Lyla Aliyev (48 kg) and Aisha Gurballey (48 kg) were unsuccessful.
