Azerbaijani judoist Kyarayat Huseynov is the only one of our athlete who retains the chances of a medal on the first day of the European Championship in Lisbon.
Huseynov, speaking in the weight category up to 60 kg, defeated rivals from Moldova and Turkey, but lost to the Spaniard in the quarterfinals. In the comforting grid, the Azerbaijan Judoist defeated the opponent from Italy and will now compete for bronze with a Bulgarian athlete.
