Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of green energy.
, in the framework of the 29th conference of the parties to the UN framework to change the climate (COP29), a meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Ilham Aliyev, Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyiv took place in Baku.
According to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan, the leaders signed a memorandum of understanding between the three countries in the development and transfer of green energy. The document is aimed at strategic partnership in this key area.
A transmission of the produced green energy through the Caspian Sea will be organized as part of the agreement, and the project will be associated with the energy cable connecting the Black Sea.
Later, a four -sided meeting of leaders with the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia was held by Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman. As a result of the meeting, a “Executive Plan of Cooperation in the Development and Transfer of Green Energy” was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the four countries.
