October 7, in the Ganjin City Oncological Hospital under the motto, “Let everyone know, life continues” Specialists of the National Center for Oncology conducted the first preventive examinations of women to detect diseases of the mammary gland. The examinations covered a total of more than 150 people. Based on the results of the examinations of a person with the risk of the disease, they were invited to the National Oncology Center for a deeper examination, and patients with other pathologies were sent to specialized medical institutions. Preventive conversations with women were also held, consultations on the spot were given.
In the continuation of the project on October 8, a scientific and practical conference on “Modern examination and treatment of breast diseases” was held in the Ganjin State Philharmonic. В конференции приняли участие специалисты Министерства здравоохранения, Объединения по управлению медицинскими территориальными подразделениями, Национального центра онкологии, а также около 100 онкологов, гинекологов, урологов и хирургов из Гянджи, Геранбойского, Гёйгёльского, Самухского, Кедабекского, Дашкесанского, Шемкирского, Товузского, Агстафинского, Газахского and Naftalansky districts.
Speaking at a conference talked about measures carried out in the country in the field of oncology, achieved results, the importance of early examinations and educational work, listened to interesting presentations and reports on the topics “Modern approach to breast diseases”, “Oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery glands “,” trophoblastic disease “,” modern principles for treating breast cancer “and others. At the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates.
