Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Police of the city of Ganja opened a crime of 22 years ago. This was announced by the senior inspector of the Ganjin Regional Group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, senior police lieutenant Eshgin Gasimov.
According to him, as a result of the operational-search measures, Elsevyar Mammadov was detained, suspected of committing a murder with the special cruelty of a resident of Ganja Solmaz Yolchueva, in whose house he penetrated with the purpose of robbery in February 2000.
It was established that the detainee committed a crime with the already deceased Hayal Safarov and Arza Gajiyev.
During the interrogation, E. Mamedov admitted that they were informed about the presence of 30 thousand dollars in the woman’s house. But after they killed the hostess, in the house they found only $ 220 and a gold ring.
