Makhiyadinov said that priority will be given to local production in order to reduce dependence on imports and stimulate local entrepreneurs. New meters are equipped in accordance with world standards: “In order to support entrepreneurship and reduce the outflow of currency from the country, the Azerigaz production association will provide subscribers with the production meters of the Ganjin Instrument -Building Plant.”
Rovshan Makhiyadinov also said that, compared with last year, the number of applications for mechanical counters decreased: “There are no differences between mechanical meters and meters with smart cards.”
Teimur Dzhafarov, the head of the new gasification department of the Union, said that the Gasification program is organized every year. According to him, the work is carried out at 50 percent of settlements. Warm weather positively affects the speed of the working process. The level of gasification of the country is 96.3 percent. Over the past 10 years, Azerigaz has gasified more than 1700 settlements.
