Since the beginning of deliveries of transradriatic pipeline (TAR) in December 2020, one billion cubic meters of natural gas was transported from Azerbaijan to Europe, reports Trend with reference to the TAP AG consortium.
Gas entered Europe through the Greek point of the connection in boiling, where TAP is connected to the transanatolized pipeline (Tanap).
According to the manager of TAP Director, Luke Speeppati, Azerbaijan Natural Gas, transported by TAP, plays an important role in providing reliable and efficient energy from the new source for the EU.
Commercial director TAP Maria Savow noted that the delivery of the first billion cubic meters of gas strengthens market competition and strengthens the role of TAP as a reliable operator.
The supply of Azerbaijani gas to Europe on the transadriatic gas pipeline began on December 31, 2020. For the first time in the history of Azerbaijan, exported its natural gas to the European market on pipelines.
