In the district of Leiria, Portugal, the high incidence of bird flu is registered. In order to protect against infectious animal diseases, a temporary restriction on the import of equipment used for cutting and processing, as well as the transit of living birds from this region of Portugal to the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan was introduced. Information about this was distributed by the Food Security Agency.
At the same time, in order to strengthen control measures, the State Customs Committee sent an appeal to the adoption of appropriate measures against vehicles arriving from Portugal or passing transit.
