As already reported, the delegation, headed by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiev, is on a visit to Israel. As part of the visit, an agreement was signed between the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Azerbaijan Republic and the famous Israeli Technology Institute. The Cybersecurity Center of Azerbaijan, created under the agreement, will train more than 1000 professional specialists over the next three years.
Training within the framework of the program will be carried out in Baku by the faculty of the Israeli Institute of Technology Technion. The use of advanced educational experience and the capabilities of the leading university of Israel will make a significant contribution to the formation of national human capital in the field of cybersecurity in Azerbaijan.
One of the main advantages of the Cybersecurity Center of Azerbaijan is the training of local instructors along with cybersecurity specialists. It is thanks to the component “Training for coaches” the training of specialists in the field of cybersecurity in our country will further be expanded.
Training in the center will be conducted in English and will become accessible to Azerbaijani citizens over 18 years old. Graduates will be awarded the certificate of the Institute Technion. Reception in the program will be announced in the near future.
