Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) sent an application for pumping in 2022 on the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline 1.209 million tons of oil against 1.09 million tons in 2021, the informed source in SOCAR reported Turan.
“We filed a bid of” Transneft “on the volume of pumping for 2022. We are talking about the outlined amount of 1.209 million tons. In 2021, our transit through the Russian Federation will be 1.09 million tons,” said the source.
SOCAR in 2020 exported in the oil pipeline Baku-Novorossiysk 0.6133 million tons of oil.
Azerbaijan transports its oil through the Baku-Novorossiysk Baku pipeline since November 1997.
According to the Central Dispatching Office of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Federation, SOCAR in January-July 2021 exported 583.29 thousand tons of oil in January-July 2021 (growth in 19.7 times compared with the same period of 2020) .
Socar Source told TURAN that natural cataclysms on the Black Sea off the coast of the Russian Federation did not affect the schedule of shipment of Azerbaijani oil in July-August and its sending to the world market through Novorossiysk goes in staff.
In July, 84.74 thousand tons of oil went from Baku to Novorossiysk (one tanker batch).
