Work is underway to expand cooperation between the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant structures of the European Union and bringing the system of veterinary control of our country in line with the standards of the World Animal Health Organization (OIE). As a result of mutual trust, obtained during joint activities, veterinary certificates issued by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, were recognized in the European Union, HAQQIN.AZ was informed in the agency.
One of the goods with export potential in Azerbaijan is sheep wool. In this regard, in order to expand the export potential of our country, negotiations were held with the European Union, a preliminary agreement was reached on the export of sheep wool. For this, interested companies should be appreciated in accordance with specific standards, and the relevant information should be provided to the relevant EU authorities. Wool can be removed from enterprises registered in the appropriate database based on a veterinary certificate issued by the Agency.
