Today, Azerbaijani athletes won two medals. In the weight category up to 60 kg Balabek Agayev won the gold medal. He alternately defeated rivals from France, Japan, Mongolia and Russia.
In the weight of up to 73 kg, Heydar’s Hydayat became a bronze medalist. Heydar took the top of judoists from France and Germany, but in the quarterfinals she lost to Tajik. In comforting fights, our judoist won among the Russian and Frenchman, won the bronze medal.
