Engineering and Safety Units of the Azerbaijani Army, together with Turkish Sipers, continue to work on cleaning liberated territories from mines and unexploded ammunition. The demining of roads is carried out with the aim of safe movement of the columns of automotive and military equipment, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.
The message notes that engineering works are underway on laying new ways to ensure in the direction of the positions of Azerbaijani divisions deployed in the mountainous location.
at the disposal of engineering and saming units of the Azerbaijani army, stationed on liberated territories, was transferred to MEMATT (mechanical equipment for clearance) manufactured by ASFAT, subordinated to the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey. This technique was involved in the work on the cleaning of Azerbaijan settlements and sowing areas from mines and unexploded ammunition.
On the liberated territories, engineering and improper units today are cleared of mines of more than 11,900 hectares. In general, more than 16,000 minutes and unexploded ammunition are recycled.
