A resident of Turkish Edirne, an artist of Azerbaijani origin of Hatai Abdullaev drew a portrait of Yusuf Diker, who became a world phenomenon thanks to the style of shooting at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The artist depicted the Turkish shooter Diker against the background of the target board. He published his work on the social network, putting the popular song Menem Türk (“I am the Turk”).
Abdullaev noted that the portrait of Diker personifies all athletes who became the pride of the Turkish people.
“Some thought that I forgot to draw a hole in the place of the target board where the wild got it. But I left it as it was, so that the wild was pierced by a bullet. Many wanted to buy a picture. But I want to give it to Yusufu. will shoot and pierce the middle of the board, the picture will become completed, ”he added.
