Azerbaijani businessman bought out another company of Mubariz Mansimov

The aircraft hangar belonging to Palmali Air, part of the holding of an Azerbaijani businessman, the head of the Palmali group of companies Mubariz Mansimov, accused of having links with the FETÖ terrorist organization and recently released, has been sold, and its employees have been fired. This is reported by the Airport Haber portal.

The portal said that the Palmali Air hangar at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport was sold to “another Azerbaijani businessman” named Mahmut Sami Chil. Those who work in the hangar have canceled their entry cards to the airport. New staff were recruited to replace them. But since the previous employees were not formally fired, they were not compensated. The company also reportedly has wage arrears to its employees.

It is also reported that there is no information on how the activities of Palmali Air will be adjusted by the new owner of the company. It was not possible to obtain information about a person named Mahmut Sami Chil in Internet sources.

Note that the business aviation company Palmali Air carried out charter flights on the basis of private orders, the company had 2 Falcon 7X aircraft and 1 Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft. In 2015, when the financial situation of the Palmali Mansimov group of companies began to deteriorate, there were reports of the sale of these two aircraft.
