Mineralovodsk customs officers stopped attempting to illegal export from the Russian Federation of salmon caviar. On the eve of the New Year, a citizen of Azerbaijan, which carries out the flight “Mineralnye Vody – Baku”, tried to take 80 kg of caviar in his baggage, reports the press service of the Federal Customs Service.
The goods were discovered during the customs control of the passenger’s baggage using X-ray X-SCAN installation. Suspicious homogeneity of baggage content gave reason to assume that a man is trying to illegally carry the commercial batch. Customs posts conducted inspection and found 339 cans of red caviar.
Citizen stated that Ikra was intended to relatives to New Year holidays, and the need to declare goods not intended for personal use, he did not know. For illegal movement of the commodity party, an administrative offense case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 16.2 Administrative Code (non-declaration or inaccurate declaration of goods).
