The Georgian government approved the direct sale of gas pipelines in areas in the west of the country for 19.8 million Lari ($ 7 million). This is reported by local media.
The relevant order was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobahidze.
We are talking about the privatization of 41 gas pipelines in the villages of the regions of Imeret, Guria and Samegrelo – Zemo Swaneti.
The process has been designed for 17 years, and payments on schedule will begin in the year 2032.
The company will pay about 2 million Lari per year for 10 years.
