The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan was appointed and sent to the workplaces of specialist doctors who have successfully trained in residency and final certification in November 2022.
According to the press service of the Ministry, the appointment was condensed by the Commission on Personnel issues of the Ministry of Health in accordance with the “Rules for sending the work-specialists who have passed the residency” approved by decision No. 39 of the College of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan of October 13, 2014.
The appointment of specialists was carried out taking into account their marital status, a place of permanent residence, the recommendations of the clinical base on the direction of work and indicators of the success of training (the results of the final certification). The reception was attended by 214 specialists who passed the residency based on a state order. Specialist doctors were offered free vacancies in state medical institutions, including in institutions of the Ministry of Health and Təbi̇b.
Some specialist doctors expressed a desire to work in regional medical institutions. However, most of them have made a choice in favor of vacant posts in Baku medical institutions, including the “clinic”, the central hospital of oil workers, the scientific and surgical center named after ACADM.M. Topchibashev, the center of analytical examination, the National Center for Oncology, the Central Clinic, Research Institute (Research Institute) of Medical Prevention named after A. Akhundov, Research Institute of Pulmonary Diseases, Republican Neurosurgical Hospital, Republican Clinical Hospital named after ACADM.M. Mirkasimov, Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital, Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, Republican Center, Republican Center. on the fight against AIDS and other medical centers of the capital. Then, documents submitted by specialist doctors for vacant places are sent to the above medical institutions.
A request was sent to the Ministry of Health of the Nakhchyansk Autonomous Republic regarding the provision of directions to the workplaces of specialist doctors living in the Autonomous Republic.
In accordance with the law, the specialist doctors hired in the direction must continue their work in this medical institution for three years. From the next school year, the procedure for receiving and paperwork is planned to be carried out in electronic form. In this regard, the Ministry of Health has developed a draft regulatory document that will be applied after its approval.
