A court investigation of the criminal case of Javid Babashov (Sumgatla), accused of drug trafficking, was completed. According to APA, the verdict was read out on the trial under the chairmanship of Judge Fakhmin Gumbatov in the Sumgaita court for serious crimes.
According to the verdict, Javid Babashev was found guilty of drugs and sentenced to 7 years 6 months in prison.
The prosecutor requested for the accused 9 years in prison.
Recall, Javid Babashov was detained a year ago by employees of the Sumgayyt city police department.
According to official information, during inspection, he found 206 grams of heroin and electronic scales.
Javid Babashov was charged under Article 234.4.3 (illegal circulation of narcotic drugs in a large amount) of the Criminal Code, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was elected against him.
