Azerbaijani President And Chairman Of Big Presidium Discussed Prospects For Cooperation

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the chairman of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bechirovich and a member of the Presidium Zhelka Zviyanovich.

Guests expressed gratitude for the invitation to the UN conference on changing the climate COP29 and confidence in the success of the event.

Denis Bechirovich noted friendly ties between the two countries, reminding the visit of President Aliyev to Sarajevo, and confirmed the intention of Bosnia and Herzegovina to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Azerbaijan.

He recalled that during his stay on the post of speaker, the parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a resolution on territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, which is evidence of the friendship of the two countries.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the areas of economics, renewable energy, infrastructure and investment. Bochirovich emphasized the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina in attracting Azerbaijani investments and voiced a number of proposals in these areas.

President Aliyev, in turn, thanked the guests for the support of the sovereignty of Azerbaijan and noted a high level of political and cultural ties, recalling long -standing historical connections between Baku and Sarajevo.

The interlocutors also discussed the prospects for cooperation between the South Caucasus and the Balkan region, expressing the hope of strengthening the bilateral legal base and expanding economic interaction.
