On Thursday, January 18, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the new US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the country of Mark Libby.
The meeting took an exchange of views on the prospects of ties between Azerbaijan and the USA in various fields, as well as on international and regional issues.
The issues of cooperation in the economic, energy spheres and between business circles of the two countries were affected.
During the conversation, an exchange of views on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and a peaceful agenda was held.
The meeting also affected the possibilities of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA on climate change in the framework of COP29.
