Azerbaijani schoolchildren won medals at International Mathematical Olympiad

From July 6 to 16, the 63rd International Mathematical Olympiad is held in the capital of Norway Oslo. Azerbaijani schoolchildren won one silver, four bronze medals and one incentive award on it.

So, a student of the 11th grade of the lyceum with a physical and mathematical bias Togrul Abbasov received a silver, and the students of the same lyceum Amin Jafarzade and Fidan Garaev, as well as a student of the Humanitarian Lyceum No. 2 Jalil Huseynov-bronze medals.

In turn, a student of the 11th grade of secondary school No. 72 Javad Ismailzade was awarded an incentive prize. In general, the Azerbaijani team took 34th place among 104 participants in the Olympiad.
