Azerbaijani schoolgirls successfully performed at European Olympiad with support of Azercell

Azerbaijani schoolgirls who took part in the European Informatics Olympiad for girls (EGOI 2022), held from October 16 to 23 in Antalya, returned home with a victory.

The student of the city of Ganja Fidan Huseynova (11th grade) for the first time participating in the EGOI 2022 at the EGOI 2022 Lyceum with a physical, mathematical and educational slope, and the student of the Lyceum with a physical, mathematical and informative slope under the Ministry of Science and the formation of the city of Baku Fidan Garaev (11th grade) was awarded a bronze medal.

In a competition organized on the basis of rules similar to the International Informatics Olympiad, young participants solved the tasks by developing effective algorithms. The participation of our young talents in such olympiads is implemented with the support of Azercell Telecom LLC, which pays special attention to teaching women in the field of information technology and their training as future specialists.

Since 2017, Azercell Telecom LLC has been promoting the process of training Azerbaijani schoolchildren to participate in international computer science competitions as part of partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education. During this period, our schoolchildren have repeatedly achieved success at international olympiads and competitions of various scale, winning a total of 40 medals, including 2 gold, 12 silver and 26 bronze.
