A resident of the Kalgan district of the Trans -Baikal Territory received 1.5 years of a conditional term for an attempt to sell 23 gold bullion to a citizen of Azerbaijan, reports AiF.
As noted by the publication, the transaction was agreed at the end of 2021. The origin of gold is unknown – the accused said that he had found ingots in his father’s apartment after his death.
The Transbaikalian was detained in Chita at the time of the transaction. In addition to the deadline, he and a citizen of Azerbaijan will have to pay 100 thousand rubles a fine.
