On October 26-29, Azerbaijani students and teachers took part in the International Nobel Festival, organized with the support of Coca-Cola and marked lectures of the Nobel Prize laureates.
International Nobel Festival “Future today!” He is the largest scientific symposis of Central Asia and the Caucasus, in which a number of world scientists are involved, the laureates of the Nobel Prize and the leaders of global companies. Famous teachers of the London School of Economics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford, California and New York Universities made lectures on the topics “Green Reality”, “Education and Profession of the Future”, “Age of Innovation”, “Economics for People”.
In an event that included 25 different seminars and online discussions, such laureates of the Nobel Prize, like Paul Milgrom, Michael Spence, Ray Kwan Chang, Tavakkul Pocket took part during 4 days. More than 150 higher educational institutions in the region were presented here.
Among the guests of the festival – historian, the author of the book “Sapiens: a brief history of mankind” (Sapiens. A Brief History of Humankind) Yuval Noah Harari; Founder of Apple Siri and Chief Engineer Renault Group Luke Julia; Specialist in Israeli startups Jonathan Medved, as well as famous expert on cryptocurrent Garik Hillemman.
In the scientific event, in collaboration with Coca-Cola and Sabah Groups programs of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, more than 1,200 students, teachers and professors from 12 universities of Azerbaijan took part.
