Last year, 900 people with a diagnosis of “poisoning” turned to the clinical medical center (formerly “Semashko”). According to Haqqin.az in the press service of the center, 127 of them were hospitalized in the toxicological department, the rest were discharged home after first aid.
73 Patients came with poisoning with medicines, 18 – acetic acid, 7 – carbon monoxide, 9 – alcoholic beverages, 6 – mushrooms and 6 with botulism.
Despite the efforts of doctors, 1 person died from poisoning with medicines, 2 people with acetic acid and 1 person – from botulism.
